Luis Rafael Zarama Pasqualetto (born November 28, 1958 in Pasto , Colombia ) is a Colombian-American clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Raleigh .
Life
Luis Rafael Zarama received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Atlanta on November 27, 1993 .
On July 27, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . as titular bishop of Bararus and auxiliary bishop in Atlanta . The Archbishop of Atlanta, Wilton Daniel Gregory , donated him episcopal ordination on September 29 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Oklahoma City , Eusebius Joseph Beltran , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Atlanta, John Francis Donoghue .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Raleigh on July 5, 2017. The inauguration took place on August 29 of the same year.
