Luiz Demétrio Valentini
Luiz Demétrio Valentini (born January 31, 1940 in São Valentim , Brazil ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Jales .
Life
Luiz Demétrio Valentini was ordained a priest on February 6, 1965 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Jales on June 8, 1982 . The Archbishop of Porto Alegre , João Cláudio Colling , donated him episcopal ordination on July 31 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were João Aloysio Hoffmann , Bishop of Erexim , and José Ivo Lorscheiter , Bishop of Santa Maria . As a motto he chose VENHO PARA SERVIR .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on October 21, 2015.
