The Diocese of Jales ( Latin Dioecesis Ialespolitana , Portuguese Diocese de Jales ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Jales in the state of São Paulo .
history
The diocese of Jales was on December 12, 1959 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ecclesia sancta from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Rio Preto and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto as a suffragan .
On July 20, 2016, there were territorial shares in the size of a parish to establish the diocese of Votuporanga .
