Luiz Gonçalves Knupp
Luiz Gonçalves Knupp (born November 29, 1967 in Mandaguari , Paraná , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Três Lagoas .
Life
Luiz Gonçalves Knupp was ordained a deacon on December 26, 1998 . On April 24, 1999, he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Maringá . In the following years he worked in various parishes in the archdiocese, since 2008 he has been pastor of the parish of Nossa Senhora de Fatima in Marialva. In the same year he also became a spiritual director at the Maringá seminary.
On February 25, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Três Lagoas. The Archbishop of Maringá, Anuar Battisti , ordained him episcopal on April 24th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of São Salvador da Bahia , Murilo Sebastião Ramos Krieger SCJ , and Edmar Peron , Auxiliary Bishop in São Paulo .
