Lukáš Poživil (born September 12, 1982 in Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Selber Wölfen in the ice hockey league since 2017 .

Career

Lukáš Poživil began his career as a hockey player at HC Litvínov , for whose professional team he was active from 2001 to 2008 in the Extraliga , the highest Czech division. At the same time, the defender gained match practice with lower-class teams during this period. These were the KLH Chomutov from the second class 1st division , as well as the HC Most from the third class 2nd division. In the 2005/06 season he also stood in a single game for Friborg-Gottéron in the Swiss National League A on the ice.

From 2008 to 2010 Poživil ran for HC České Budějovice in the Extraliga, with which he took part in the Champions Hockey League at European level in the 2008/09 season . In this he gave one assist in four games. For the 2010/11 season , the Czech received a trial contract with the newly founded Slovak club HC Lev Poprad from the Continental Hockey League , which did not start playing. Instead, he spent the season at HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi in the 1st division. He also came to a total of five appearances in the extra league for HC Kladno and its ex-club HC Litvínov.

He played for Slovan Ústečtí Lvi until the 2012/13 season . During the season he made ten play-off appearances at HC Škoda Plzeň and became Czech champions with them .

For the 2013/14 season , the offensive defender moved to the DEL 2 after a game for the team from Ústí nad Labem to the Lausitzer Füchsen . During the 2014/15 season, he received German citizenship.

In the 2016/17 season he was under contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau .
