career

To enter the senior division, he was included in the squad of Cologne's second team in the 2007/08 season, with which he initially competed in the Oberliga Nordrhein and qualified for the newly created three-track regional league . There he was a regular player for up to two ankle operations and finally received a professional contract dated until 2011. In the first half of the 2009/10 Bundesliga season , however, he was not used in any competitive game, so that he was loaned out to the second representative of Borussia Dortmund for half a year during the winter break in order to receive match practice. On February 7, 2010 he made his debut for this in the first game after his move - in the 2-1 away win at Kickers Offenbach , where he played through.

For the 2010/11 season , Nottbeck then received a contract with TuS Koblenz . He signed for two years when relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga , but with a ligament injury in the spring of 2011, he was out for the rest of the season. For the 2011/12 season he then moved to the Regionalliga promoted SC Fortuna Cologne . With Fortuna, he failed in the 2012/13 season as second in the table, just short of promotion to the third division. For the 2013/14 season he moved to local rivals FC Viktoria Köln .
