Lukas Stadler (born October 28, 1990 ) is an Austrian football player in the position of a striker and midfielder . His younger brother Florian (born December 20, 1991) is also active as a football player. The brothers were often next to each other on the farm team of the regional league team, the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , in the sixth class sub-division North B and later played together in the regional league team of Kapfenberger SV .

Career

youth

Stadler began his active career as a football player at the age of seven at the beginning of 1998 in the offspring of his home club, Kapfenberger SV. He went through various youth league classes up to and including 2007 and was increasingly active as a striker, especially towards the end of his youth. In 2005/06 four goals in 21 youth appearances, the committed attacker scored ten goals in only 14 appearances in the following season 2006/07. During this time, Stadler was already integrated into the club's amateur teams in the lower-class leagues of Styrian football.

Time at ASC Rapid Kapfenberg

Already at the beginning of the 2006/07 season Stadler was in the squad of the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , which at that time was still represented in the seventh-class regional league Mürz . After he only came to a number of missions as a substitute for the time being, he was used from the start in the tenth round in the 1-1 home draw against ASK Phönix Hönigsberg . Over the entire season he was involved in 20 championship games and was used in 19 games in which he scored two goals.

2006/07 only a weak goal yield, this improved greatly in the following season 2007/08. After he scored a goal at the start of the season, another 20 goals followed in a total of 24 championship appearances. With his 21 goals this season, he ranked second on the list of goalscorers in the Mürz regional league and was only three goals behind the top scorer. Of his 21 goals, he scored a hat trick and five times in a brace. With his good performance as a regular player and with his number of goals, Stadler was one of the main people responsible for the championship title, which the team won at the end of the season with an eleven point lead over SV Hinterberg and SV Breitenau .

Also in the following season 2008/09 the 1.78 m tall striker shone with good offensive performances and leadership qualities, which was also one of the main reasons that he acted as captain of the team from the fifth round of the season . After he scored seven goals by the ninth round, he paid less attention to the offensive and moved back into midfield. By the winter break, Stadler scored eight goals in 13 championship games in the autumn championship and was in second place on the team's internal goalscorer list, although he did not make a single appearance in the spring. At the end of the season, it was enough for the team to achieve an acceptable fifth place in the table.

Regional league and professional debut

After leaving as captain of the farm team, the 18-year-old was brought into the national league team due to his good performance in the 2008/09 winter break. He made his debut there at the spring opener on March 15, 2009 in a 4-0 home game defeat against eventual champions SVL Flavia Solva , when he was on the pitch from the start. In his second national league appearance in the following week, Stadler scored his first team and league goal in a 2-1 away win over SV Wildon , when he netted to lead 1-0 in minute 36. The young attacker was able to integrate quickly into the national league team and after only a few appearances was already one of the regular players and one of the pillars of the team. By the end of the season, Stadler had made 14 league appearances and scored two goals.

After Stadler was already in the season preparation before the 2009/10 season with the professional team of his home club, he was brought into the Bundesliga squad at the beginning of the season, although he was still used exclusively in the national league, but always trained with the professionals. Immediately after his first goal in the opening game of the regional league, his goal rate improved noticeably compared to the previous year. To date (May 4, 2010) he has scored five goals in 18 championship games and scored his first double for the Kapfenberger SV amateur team.

Although the amateurs had an important game against FC Gleisdorf 09 in the Steirer Cup on May 4, 2010 (7th round; quarter-finals), KSV coach Werner Gregoritsch added Stadler to the squad for the Bundesliga game against FC Red Bull Salzburg Professional teams brought in. While the amateurs lost the away match 3-0, the professional team won 2-0 at home against the guests from Salzburg , with Lukas Stadler on the pitch from the start and replaced by the Czech Patrik Siegl from the second half of the game . Manfred Gollner , of the same age, made his professional debut with Stadler that evening .
