Luke Goss
Luke Damon Goss (born September 29, 1968 in London ) is a British actor and singer .
Life
His music career began in the 1980s when he formed the band Bros with twin brother Matt Goss and school friend Craig Logan . The band had several top ten hits and played two very successful world tours. After the breakup in late 1991, he founded the "Band of Thieves" and released two less successful singles. From this project, the band "Thieves Like Us" emerged, with whom he only released one single.
Then Goss switched to musicals, where he played Danny in Grease very successfully. The musical roles then gave him an appetite for acting. Goss first played minor supporting roles until he made a name for himself in Blade II in 2002 . He also acted as Xerxes in the film One Night with the King .
In Budapest he played together with Ron Perlman in the film Hellboy - The Golden Army , which opened on July 11, 2008 in the USA.
With Your Move , Goss made his debut as a screenwriter and director in 2017.
In 2017, the preparations for the Reunion concerts were accompanied by Bros with the camera. The documentary After the Screaming Stops (the title is a reference to a question once asked them by the famous presenter Terry Wogan ) was shown at film festivals in Austin and London in 2018, had a limited release and was on BBC Four on December 23, 2018 broadcast. The program was seen by almost 250,000 viewers, but after enthusiastic reactions on social media and especially Twitter, the documentary over Christmas became a surprise hit on the BBC streaming platform.
