The Lungcha ( Russian Лунгха , also Лунха , Luncha ; Yakut Луҥха ) is a 508 km long left tributary of the Lena in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in Russia .
The Lungcha arises on the northeastern edge of the Lena Plateau , 250 km in a straight line west-northwest of the Republic capital of Yakutsk is small from several tributaries, the longest of the 25 km long Ytschtschaky. It initially flows in a northerly direction, after a few dozen kilometers it reaches the Central Yakut Lowland , which it continues through in northeastern to northern directions. It meanders heavily in sections. The river finally flows into the left arm of the Lena, about 2 km wide, about 30 km above the Viljui estuary , about 280 km north-northwest of Yakutsk.
The catchment area of the river covers 10,300 km². The most important tributaries are the Tochoron (length 87 km) and the Khatyng-Jurjach (315 km) from the right and the Byky-Jurjach (62 km) from the left.
72 km of the Lungcha are navigable as an inland waterway for smaller vehicles , from the mouth to the confluence of the right tributary Saadach, which is traveled for another 30 km to the Sogo pier, from where there is a land connection to the village of Kobjai 12 km away .
The Lungcha flows through thinly populated areas. Almost immediately at the place of their origin, the section leads Mirny - Yakutsk the highway A331 Vilyuy River passing along which the village Orto-Surt from there about 20 kilometers east away is. Several villages of Ulus Kobjaiski are located a few kilometers from the middle and lower reaches of the Lungcha ; The only village directly on the river is the village of Argas on the right bank about 30 km above the mouth.
