Lusia Strus (born December 13, 1969 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

The von Strus family comes from the Ukraine . Strus graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in theater acting in 1991 . She got her first television role in an episode of the television series Amor - Mitten ins Herz from 1998. In the horror film Echoes - Voices from the Intermediate World (1999), she played one of the bigger roles alongside Kevin Bacon . She also took on larger roles in the drama Danny's Wish (2001) and in the comedies 50 First Dates (2004) and Miss Undercover 2 - Fabulous and Armed (2005). From 2005 to 2007 she appeared in eleven episodes of the television series Ned's Ultimate School Madness .

Strus has appeared in numerous plays in both the United States and England . For this work she received the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Principal Actress as well as - in 2005 - the Young Women Achievers Award . The Chicago Tribune newspaper named her on the Top 10 Actors list , which includes the city's leading actors.
