The Luxgen M7 , formerly also marketed as the Luxgen7 MPV , is a van from the Taiwanese automobile brand Luxgen . The 7 has been built since January 6, 2009 by the Chinese Geely International Corporation in Hangzhou , Zhèjiāng Shěng on behalf of Yulon . In Taiwan itself, the brand was first introduced to the public on August 19, 2009.

The Luxgen7 MPV can accommodate seven people. The vehicle was built on the L7 platform of the Renault Espace IV . As motorization Yulon sets a series 4-cylinder 129  kW strong gasoline engine with a displacement of 2198 cc made by the ChungHwa Engine Corporation one. The US manufacturer Delphi is increasing its performance. The 5-stage Manumatic gear used comes from the automotive parts supplier Aisin Seiki . The MPV offers ABS , EBD , BAS , ESP and the audio control Luxgen Think + as standard . The computer system required for this is obtained from HTC Corporation and uses Microsoft Windows CE . Via a 3.5G internet connection, the navigation system is constantly updated with the traffic conditions, shopping and travel information.

The MPV is available in several countries. The main markets are the Middle East , People's Republic of China and Taiwan .

With the help of AC Propulsion , Luxgen developed the Luxgen EV + . Its top speed is 145 km / h, its maximum range 350 km. The electric motor has an output of 180 kW. The EV + is offered together with the MPV in several markets.

CEO

A third model variant, the Luxgen7 CEO, came onto the market in January 2010. It represents the luxury model of the 7 series and is based on the MPV. As standard, the CEO is the brand's best-equipped model. The model offers space for four people and is a direct competitor to Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz .
