Luzizila Kiala
Luzizila Kiala (born November 19, 1963 in Damba ) is an Angolan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Sumbe .
Life
Luzizila Kiala was ordained a priest on August 23, 1992 . He then continued his theology studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, which he completed with a doctorate. Later, he was Spiritual Director of the Seminary of Uije . Most recently he was vicar general of the diocese of Uije.
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Sumbe on May 21, 2013. The bishop of Uije, Emílio Sumbelelo , ordained him episcopal on August 25th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ndalatando , Almeida Kanda , and the Bishop of Mbanza Congo , Vicente Carlos Kiaziku, OFMCap . The inauguration in the Diocese of Sumbe followed on September 8, 2013.
