Lwowe ( Ukrainian Львове ; Russian Львово Lwowo ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 2500 inhabitants (2001).
Lwowe is the only village in the district council of the same name in the south of Beryslav Rajon . It is located on the right bank of the Dnieper River , 23 km west of the Rajonzentrum Beryslav and 54 km east of the Oblastzentrum Kherson . The regional road P-47 runs 3 km north of the village .
The village was established in 1956 from the merger of two settlements: The 1816-1818 by settlers from the Poltava Governorate founded settlement Tscherwonyj Burhun ( Червоний Бургун ) and in 1841 by Jews from the province of Vitebsk and Mogilev founded settlement Lwowe. In 1966 the remains of the Sarmatians from the 2nd century BC were found near the village . BC to the 3rd century AD. The village was occupied from August 24, 1941 to March 12, 1944 by Wehrmacht troops.
