Mário Pasqualotto

Mário Pasqualotto PIME (born June 25, 1938 in Valenza ) is an Italian clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Manaus .

Life

Mário Pasqualotto joined the religious community of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions and was ordained a priest on June 26, 1965 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Vicus Caesaris and auxiliary bishop in Manaus on June 2, 1999 . The Archbishop of Manaus, Luiz Soares Vieira , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Treviso , Paolo Magnani , and the Prelate of Lábrea , Jesús Moraza Ruiz de Azúa OAR . As a motto he chose UT UNUM SINT .

On July 17, 2013, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
