The Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Lábrea ( lat. : Territorialis Praelatura Labreana ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic territorial prelate based in Lábrea in the state of Amazonas .

history

The territorial prelature Lábrea was on May 1, 1925 by Pope Pius XI. Erected from territory ceded by the diocese of Amazon and subordinated to the archdiocese of Belém do Pará as a suffragan . On February 16, 1952, the territorial prelature Lábrea was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Manaus as a suffragan. The territorial prelature Lábrea was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Porto Velho as a suffragan on October 4, 1982 .
