Walter, Klaus and Peter Plong (grandpa, father, son) form a men’s economy. The three of them bring secret women to their house separately. This creates turbulence among the three generations of the family. None of the Plongs can imagine that their male flat share will be shared by women. After some squabbling, they agree that no woman should move into their household.

The film was first broadcast on December 31, 1975 in the first program of GDR television . In July 2012 the film was released on DVD by Icestorm as part of the DDR TV Archive series .
