The Méchet is a river in France that runs in the Saône-et-Loire department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises under the name Ruisseau du Crot Morin in the north-eastern municipality of Saint-Prix , drains in an S-curve generally in a south-easterly direction through the Morvan Regional Nature Park and after around 24 kilometers flows into the Laizy and Monthelon as a right tributary Arroux .
