Career
In his youth, Neziri played with the Stuttgarter Kickers up to U-17 . In January 2010 he separated from the club and joined the youth team of the Karlsruher SC . At KSC, he only stayed in the B-Jugend-Bundesliga Süd / Südwest for half a year before moving to the A-Juniors of SGV Freiberg in summer 2010 . With the SGV, after a 1-0 defeat in the final against VfB Stuttgart , he finished second in the WFV U-19 Junior Cup .
In the summer of 2011, Mërgim Neziri moved to VfR Aalen . There he was eligible to play for the U-19s, but he completed the preparation for the 2011/12 season together with the professional team of the third division under coach Ralph Hasenhüttl . In addition to the junior team, he also played in the second team of Aalen in the Württemberg Association League , where he scored seven goals in 22 appearances, and was also occasionally in the squad of the professional team. In this way, Neziri made his professional debut on August 2, 2011 when he came on as a substitute for Marco Haller in the 79th minute in the 1-1 draw against SV Darmstadt 98 on the second match day of the third division season . Another professional assignment came for him this season, at the end of which the first team was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . After the end of the season, however, Neziri left VfR again and joined the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg in the fourth-class Bavarian regional league . He tore a cruciate ligament in April 2013 and was out for the rest of the year. In the summer of 2014 he moved to the regional division SV Seligenporten .
