The Mönchehaus Museum Goslar is a museum for modern and contemporary art in Goslar .

The museum was founded in 1978 by the Association for the Promotion of Modern Art. V. Goslar (VFK), which in turn was founded in 1974 by the Goslar industrialist Peter Schenning (1923–2010). One of the goals was to create a worthy exhibition space for the international winners of the Goslarer Kaiserring .

The monk's house, built in 1528, is one of the most beautiful arable bourgeois houses in the historic old town of Goslar. The three-story half-timbered building has served as the seat of the Goslar Art Association since its renovation. The association has been managing the museum with artistic and administrative responsibility since it was founded. The director of the museum has been Bettina Ruhrberg since 2006 .

Music evenings, jazz matinees and readings complete the exhibition program.
