The Mönchshof is a settlement in the town of Römhild in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .

The Mönchshof is located northeast of Mendhausen in the fertile Thuringian Grabfeld at Kreisstrasse 508 and just before Landesstrasse 3029 near the former border strip on Galgenberg between the former German states.

history

On February 3, 799 the Mönchshof was mentioned for the first time in a document.
