The Mühlbach , also called Mühlgraben , is the 2.5 km long orographically right source stream of the Saulheimer Bach in Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

The source of the Mühlbach is in the north of Wörrstadt at an altitude of 192 m above sea level. NN . The stream flows in a north-easterly direction, its main direction of flow, which it essentially maintains up to the mouth, and passes under the tracks of the Alzey – Mainz railway line . At the hospital mill it runs through a small pond and then disappears for a short distance piped underground. At Carl-Benz-Straße it reappears on the surface and flows, parallel to Ober-Saulheimer-Straße , through meadows and fields . It passes the Roman and Birkenhof on the left and finally flows at an altitude of 153 m above sea level. NN in the west of Saulheim with the Etzenbornbach coming from the left to the Saulheimer Bach . Here, the Etzenbornbach is nominally regarded as the source of the Saulheimer Bach and the Mühlbach as a tributary.
