Müllekoven is one of the twelve localities of Troisdorf in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rhein-Sieg district . It is the smallest of the Troisdorf districts.

history

The place appears for the first time around 911 to 918 in deeds of ownership of the Bonn Cassius monastery . The village structure has been preserved, the character of the place is shaped by agriculture and fruit growing. There are some half-timbered houses in the town center . By regulating the river , the Sieg has been removed about 500 meters from the village. The district is located directly on the border with Bonn and therefore, like the Troisdorf district of Bergheim, has the Bonn area code "0228". Müllekoven belonged to the municipality of Sieglar until August 1, 1969 and was then incorporated with Sieglar into the city of Troisdorf.

traffic

The village is connected to public transport via three bus lines 501, 551 and 552, which go to Siegburg, Troisdorf, Niedekassel and Bonn.
