Nová Ves (German Neundorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers north of the city center of Liberec .
geography
The 353 m above sea level. M. located place extends along the river Jeřice ( Görsbach ) in the southwest of the Jizera Mountains . Neighboring places are Horní Chrastava ( Oberkratzau ), Vysoká ( Hohendorf ) and Růžek ( Hoheneck ) in the west, Horní Vítkov ( Ober Wittig ) in the northwest, Mlýnice ( Mühlscheibe ) and Albrechtice u Frýdlantu ( Olbersdorf ) in the northeast, Mníšek ( Einsiedel ) in the Jizera Mountains East, Nová Víska ( Neudörfel ) in the south and Víska ( Neudörfel ) in the southwest.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1464 as Nywensdorf . The owners at that time were the Biebersteiners . The next owner Heinrich von Kyaw had a small castle built in the village, which became the manor's seat. The Schwanitzers followed in 1498; In 1595 Katharina von Redern acquired Neundorf. After the Battle of the White Mountain , Christoph von Redern's goods were confiscated and handed over to Albrecht von Waldstein . After his death, Jakob von Heistern bought Neundorf. After several changes of ownership, Johann Joachim Pachta von Rayowa sold Neundorf to Wenzel Graf Gallas in 1712 , who joined the Neundorf estate to his property in Reichenberg . From the middle of the 19th century, Neundorf was a municipality in the judicial district of Kratzau or district of Reichenberg .
In 1900, 1809 people lived in Neundorf. Between 1904 and 1906 originated in Mühlscheibe ( Mlýnice ), designed by Otto Intze the dam Mühlscheibe .
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the Reichenberg district until 1945 .
After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled; the population decreased drastically.
In 1980 it was incorporated into Chrastava , and Nová Ves has been independent again since 1992.
Community structure
The community Nová Ves consists of the districts Mlýnice ( Mühlscheibe ), Nová Ves ( Neudorf ), Nová Víska ( Neudörfel ) and Růžek ( Hoheneck ). Nová Ves also includes the layers America and Brazílie ( Brazil ). The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Mlýnice and Nová Ves u Chrastavy.
