Bulovka (German Bullendorf ) is a municipality in Okres Liberec in northern Bohemia , Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northeast of Frýdlant ( Friedland ) in the Jizera Mountains foothills . The village extends along the Bulovský potok .
history
Bullendorf consisted of two parts; the first was subordinate to the Friedland rule and the second to the Grafenstein rule. Were named in both parts, the later Upper and Lower Bullendorf existed fiefdoms , but fell into disrepair in the 16th century. Count Gallas bought Niederbullendorf in 1654 and Oberbullendorf in 1675. Even after the Thirty Years' War , the united community of Bullendorf experienced a difficult time due to emigration and increased serfdom . Under Andreas Stelzig , residents took part in uprisings between 1679 and 1687.
In 1790 there were 131 houses in the parish. In 1833 there were already 1,173 inhabitants in Bullendorf, where there was already a school, a farm and a mill. The community was strongly characterized by agriculture; The weaving mill was established in the first half of the 19th century . The place belonged from the middle of the 19th century to the judicial district Friedland or the district Friedland .
Bullendorf had the largest population around 1850, when more than 1,600 people lived in the community; then the population decreased continuously. In 1910 only 1,259 people lived in Bullendorf.
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the Friedland district until 1945 .
