Neighboring towns are Pěnčín and Kamenec in the north, Čtveřín and Přepeře in the Northeast, Modřišice the east, Podháj the southeast, Všeň , Mokrý and Ploukovice in the south, Břehy and Podolí in the southwest, Svijany in the west and Močítka, Svijanský Újezd and Kordovka in the northwest.

history

On the basis of archaeological finds, an early settlement of the area can be proven up to the Neolithic . In the 10th century the Isertal valley between Mnichovo Hradiště and Turnov was settled by Charwaten . The place name is derived from the personal name Prieš. The first written mention of Příšovice took place in 1319, when the village and the Vorwerk were attached to the Všeň manor . Because of the fertile soil and the abundance of water, the population lived from growing grain and vegetables; In addition, the lush Iserwiesen provided plenty of fodder for cattle breeding.

When the united rule Wartenberger Skal and Gross Rohosetz was divided, Příšovice became one of the 64 villages of the new rule Svijany , whose owner Jaroslav von Wartenberg became. After his death, his widow Anna Katharina Smiřický von Smiřice inherited the rule and in 1614 brought her into her second marriage to Joachim Andreas von Schlick . Schlick was executed in 1621 as the leader of the class uprising in Prague and his goods were sold to Albrecht von Waldstein in 1622 . The Waldsteiners got back from the goods confiscated after the murder of Wallenstein Münchengrätz and Swijan and held the rule until 1820. 1624 Příšovice consisted of 30 houses. The berní rula from 1654 shows 19 farmers, a sitter , a free yard and five gardeners for the village .

In 1773 308 people lived in the 46 houses. Between 1808 and 1813 the imperial road from Podol to the pyramid at Ohrazenice was built. After Prince Charles Alain de Rohan bought the Swijan rule in 1820, he united them with Sychrov .

After the abolition of patrimonial Příšovice formed from 1850 a municipality in the political district of Turnov . On October 15, 1865, the railway from Turnov to Prague started running and passed through Příšovice without stopping. During the German War , the battle of Podol and Swijan took place on June 26, 1866 on the Iser . In 1900 591 people lived in the 88 houses of the village. The community had a train station built in 1911 for 9,000 crowns, which was inaugurated on May 1, 1911. In 1912 the Jizera Bridge to Ploukonice was built. The road from Turnov via Přepeře to Příšovice was laid out in 1939. Příšovice had 614 inhabitants in 1970. At the beginning of the 1970s, 212 apartments were built in the community; the number of inhabitants increased significantly as a result of the associated influx. In 1976 Svijany was incorporated . Its residents decided to go independent in 1990.
