history

The village of Rückersdorf , which consists of around 40 houses, was first mentioned in 1381 in the land register of the Friedland lordship . At that time the owners were the Biebersteiner . The trade route from Friedland to Marklissa ran through Rückersdorf . On March 21, 1431, the Hussites under Jan Čapek ze Sán devastated the village. In 1551, Christoph von Bieberstein, the Friedlander branch of the family died out and the rule returned to the Crown of Bohemia through reversion . At this time the Lords of Ressel were enfeoffed with the Rückersdorf estate. In 1558 the imperial council Friedrich von Redern acquired the rule of Friedland. In the period that followed, the von Knebel families were enfeoffed with the estate under Friedland's rule.

After the Battle of the White Mountain , Christoph von Redern's possessions were confiscated and handed over to Albrecht von Waldstein . After his murder in 1634 Matthias von Gallas received the rule. After the end of the Thirty Years War , the Counts of Gallas began to recatholize their subjects. They enfeoffed the Max von Maxen family with the Rückersdorf estate. In 1651, 353 people lived in the 100 or so houses in Rückersdorf. In the course of the Counter-Reformation, the majority of the inhabitants then left the village and went into exile in neighboring Upper Lusatia . In the berní rula of 1654, Rückersdorf only lists 30 farms as being managed, 66 adult Catholics lived in the village. The Rückersdorfer blacksmith Andreas Stelzig was one of the leaders of the uprisings of the serfs in the Friedland rule against the heavy burdens between 1679 and 1681. In the 19th century, Rückersdorf grew to become one of the most densely populated villages of the rule.

In 1832 Rückersdorf consisted of 211 houses with 1,096 German-speaking residents. There were three grinding mills and a board saw in the village. The parish was Schönwald . Until the middle of the 19th century, Rückersdorf remained subject to the allodial rule of Friedland .

After the abolition of patrimonial Rückersdorf formed from 1850 with the districts Hegewald ( Hajniště ), Wiesenhäuser ( V Lukách ) and brick huts ( Cihelny ) a political municipality in the Bunzlauer Kreis and judicial district Friedland . In 1864 Josef Ressel founded a half-wool and cotton factory. From 1868 the community belonged to the Friedland district . In 1876 a three-class village school was established. In 1887 a post office was set up. Hegewald and the meadow houses broke away in 1895 and formed their own community. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ressel factory had around 400 employees; it was also the only industrial company in Rückersdorf, otherwise the village remained rural. On August 2, 1902, the Friedland District Railway started operating the local railway line from Friedland to Heinersdorf . In 1930 there were 1216 people in Rückersdorf. After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Friedland district until 1945 . In 1939 the community had 1,139 inhabitants. After the Second World War took place the expulsion of most of the German population. The textile factory was nationalized and its buildings were initially used by Severochema Liberec , and later as an agricultural warehouse. In 1949 the village was renamed Dolní Řasnice . In the course of the abolition of the Okres Frýdlant, Dolní Řasnice was assigned to the Okres Liberec at the beginning of 1961 . In 1980, Dolní Řasnice was merged with Krásný Les and Horní Řasnice to form a municipality Řasnice , which was dissolved again in 1990.
