history

The first mention of the Church of St. Maria Magdalena took place in 1346 in the writings of the diocese of Meissen . The owners of the feudal estate belonging to the Friedland lordship changed frequently. The owners of Arnsdorf were the lords of Tschirnhausen, Schwanitz, Kyaw, Biedermann, Scharfsodt, Faust, Unwürde and Rodewitz. Arnsdorf was a Protestant parish village until the Thirty Years War. The last Protestant pastor was Christian Starck until 1624. After that, Arnsdorf under Wallenstein was pastured to Friedland. From 1684 the Arnsdorf church was a branch of Wiese and from 1741 it belonged to the Bullendorfer parish.

In 1652 there were seven fish ponds in Arnsdorf, one of which is still preserved today. In the years 1831 to 1833 the Kaiserstraße from Friedland to Seidenberg was built , which cut the place from south to north. The settlement of Neu Schönwald was built along this road to the south. The forester's house at the Wustunger Thiergarten was also built to the west of the village at that time.

After the abolition of patrimonial rule , the political municipality of Arnsdorf was established in the judicial district of Friedland or Friedland district . In 1856 the community had 769 inhabitants. In 1930 there were 583 people in Arnsdorf. After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in October 1938 and belonged to the Friedland district until 1945 . In 1939 the community had 552 inhabitants. After the Second World War took place the expulsion of the German population. In 1961 Arnoltice was incorporated into Bulovka and at the same time came to Okres Liberec . In 1991 there were 268 people in the village. In 2001 Arnoltice consisted of 76 houses.
