history

The first mention of the Church of St. Martin took place in 1346 in the writings of the diocese of Meissen . The owners of the Lehngut Blrigsdorf , which belonged to the lordship of Friedland , were successively the lords of Schlanoth, Nicklasdorf and Halbendorf. They were followed by the Knights of Eberhard, who held the estate until the Thirty Years' War. They are followed by the von Tschirnhausen, Kyaw and Max von Maxen families , who ravaged the surrounding villages as robber barons. The village, which at that time was called Ullersdorf , was later given the addition of Nieder Ullersdorf to distinguish it from Buschullersdorf, which belonged to the same rule . After Upper Lusatia was pledged to Saxony, Nieder Ullersdorf was surrounded by Electoral Saxon territory in the east, north and west . Later - after the division of Upper Lusatia - the village was on the Austrian-Prussian border from 1815.

After the abolition of patrimonial rule , the political community Nieder Ullersdorf / Dolní Ullersdorf was established in the judicial district of Friedland or Friedland district . Between 1895 and 1898 the road from Bullendorfer Gut to Nieder Ullersdorf was built. In 1919 the Czech name Dolní Oldřiš was created . In 1930, 233 people lived in Nieder Ullersdorf.

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in October 1938 and belonged to the Friedland district until 1945 . In 1939 the community had 216 inhabitants. After the Second World War took place the expulsion of the German population.

In 1946 Dolní Oldřiš was incorporated into Bulovka and at the beginning of 1961 came to Okres Liberec . Due to the cut off location in the border point, Dolní Oldřiš was heavily relocated in the second half of the 20th century. In 1991 the place had 29 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 14 houses in which 24 people lived.
