After Kováň's death in 1460, the guardian of his underage children, Johann Zajíc von Hasenburg auf Kost , became the owner of the estate. In 1497 the Colonel Chancellor Johann von Schellenberg bought the property from him. As part of the Rohozec rule , his widow Johanna Kraiger von Kraigk inherited the goods. In 1534 Wolf the Elder Kraiger von Kraigk sold the rule to Johann von Wartenberg on Zvířetice. His son Adam lost his property due to participation in the class uprising in 1547, but was later able to buy it back. Adam von Wartenberg died in 1564. In the following year, an inheritance was divided between his two sons, in which Újezd fell to Jaroslav von Wartenberg. This made Svijany his seat. After his death, his widow, Anna Katharina Smiřický von Smiřice , inherited the rule and brought it into her second marriage to Joachim Andreas von Schlick in 1614 . Schlick was executed in 1621 as the leader of the class uprising in Prague and his goods were sold to Albrecht von Waldstein in 1622 .
