Rynoltice (German Ringelshain ) is a municipality in Liberecký kraj ( Czech Republic ). It is located on the right side of Panenský potok on the southern slope of the Lusatian Mountains about four kilometers east of Jablonné v Podještědí on the European route 442 from Děčín to Liberec .
history
Rynoltice was first mentioned in 1369 as Rinoldi villa . During the Hussite Wars , the place was badly devastated and abandoned. The desert was not settled again until around 1550, but was again badly damaged in the Thirty Years' War.
The residents earned their livelihood from agriculture and cart services. After 1800, the "Paschen" (smuggling) of goods such as tobacco, sugar, coffee, spices, yarn, fabrics and gunpowder across the Saxon border became an important branch of business before the establishment of a financial watch in 1843 curbed this trade.
