Neighboring towns are Radostín in the north, Sedlejovice, Stádla and Zlatá Hvězda in the northeast, Sychrov in the east, Rybník in the south, Kamení and Zásada in the southwest, Červenice in the west and Třtí in the northwest.

history

Archaeological finds show that the Radimonice corridors have been inhabited since the Neolithic Age . Radimowicze was first mentioned in a document in 1543 in a review about the sale of parts of the Albrechtitz and Friedstein estates . This shows that Radimovice was divided between two lordships from the 14th century. Two hooves belonged to the Tista von Liebstein on Albrechtitz. Other owners were Aleš from Sovinec and Kryštof Kyjovanský from Kyjov, who together with Albrechitz also acquired the Albrechtitz share of the village in the 16th century. A total of 25 subjects belonged to the Radimowicze estate. The other part was part of the Friedstein rule and was owned by the von Oppersdorff lords .

After the Battle of White Mountain , both parts were confiscated, the Oppersdorff people were Protestant and had to leave Bohemia. In 1628 Albrecht von Waldstein acquired the goods and united them. After his murder, Radimovice was divided again. The Friedsteiner share received together with the rule Aicha- Friedstein Johann Ludwig Hektor von Isolani . His daughter Regina bequeathed her property to the monastery of St. James in Vienna. After the secularization of the monastery in the course of the Josephine reforms, the property fell to the religious fund.

Vincenz Lamotte von Frintropp acquired the Albrechtitz part in 1669. Franz von Waldstein bought the goods from his son in 1749 . In 1820 Charles Alain Fürst Rohan acquired this part and in 1838 also bought the other part.

After the abolition of patrimonial Radimonice formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Kamení in the political district Turnov . At that time the village had 119 inhabitants. Between 1856 and 1858 the railway from Pardubitz to Reichenberg was built . For half a million guilders, a 676 m long tunnel was driven under the village. The drive was carried out from two shafts from the north and south and was carried out by Italian tunnel builders. At the same time, the viaduct over the Mohelka was built, the stones of which were broken in Hodkovice nad Mohelkou , Hrobka, Vlčetín and Kozákov . During the German War in 1866 there was a battle between Prussians and Austrians in the area.

In 1919 the Radimovice commune was established. In 1930 there were 356 people living in the 61 houses in Radimovice. After the Second World War, the princes Rohan were expropriated by the Beneš decrees in 1945. In 1961 the district Rybník was added; at the same time the village was reclassified in the Okres Liberec. In 1963 Radimovice was incorporated into Sychrov. The Radimovice municipality has existed again since 1990.
