The M. Yu. Lermontov ( Russian М. Ю. Лермонтов , German M. Ju. Lermontow) is a river cruise ship that was built in 1958 in Czechoslovakia at the Narodny Podnik Škoda shipyard in Komárno (now Slovenské Lodenice Komárno, at that time part of the Škoda Group ) and belongs to the Rossiya class (Project 785 / OL800). It is operated by OAO PassazhirRetschTrans on Yenisei on the Krasnoyarsk - Dudinka route.
The river cruise ship with two passenger decks was built in 1958 at the Slovakian shipyard Narodny Podnik Škoda in Komárno for the shipping company "Yeniseiskoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo" (Yenisei River Shipping Company) in Krasnoyarsk. She belonged to a series of 36 ships of the Rossiya class produced between 1952 and 1958 , which was also known as "Project 785" or "OL800" (Slovak: osobna lod 800 - German: passenger ship 800 hp). The M. Yu. Lermontov has a diesel-electric drive with two main engines. After a long transfer to the Yenisei, M. Yu. Lermontov put into service in 1959. Until 1991 she was used on the Krasnoyarsk - Dudinka route. After a break (1992–1995), she continued her service on the same route since 1996, operated by the OAO PassashirRetschTrans since 2006. After the sinking of sister Bulgaria on the Volga, the technical condition of the M. Yu. Lermontov unscheduled and found to be very good.
