Course of the road

The M8 is a trunk road in Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic . The road runs in an east-west direction from Ordubad to Naxçıvan .

history

In the Soviet Union this route was run under two different names. The eastern part of the Armenian border to Culfa was signposted as A324, the rest to Naxçıvan as A325. These numbers continued to exist after the end of the Soviet Union. In 2008 the route from Ordubad to Naxçıvan was assigned to the M8.
