The F4 1000 R is a superbike motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer MV Agusta .

Based on the F4 1000 S , numerous technical changes have been made to the F4 1000 R for better handling and higher engine performance.

The engine has been extensively revised and now delivers 128 kW (174 hp) and 111 Nm. This puts the MV Agusta on the same level as the Japanese competitors à la Suzuki GSX-R 1000 , Kawasaki ZX-10R etc.

The chassis received a high-quality carbon-nitride-coated 50 mm upside-down fork from Marzocchi , a mono spring strut with adjustment options for rebound and compression in the high and low-speed range, a radially screwed 4-piston monoblock brake system from Brembo with 320 mm brake discs, forged Brembo aluminum wheels with Y-design spokes.

There is also a raised windshield and an exclusive paint finish in black / anthracite / red with black rims.

A 1-seater (Monoposto) and a 1 + 1-seater (Biposto) variant are available.
