The F4 Tamburini is a superbike motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer MV Agusta .

This is an exclusive, limited to 300 pieces special model based on the F4 1000 S . The name giver is the designer of the F4, Massimo Tamburini .

Various technical changes are used in the F4 Tamburini for better racetrack behavior.

The engine here delivers 127 kW / 173 PS and 113 Nm instead of 122 kW / 166 PS and 109 Nm in the basic model. This increase in performance was achieved primarily through "sharper" camshafts and a variable intake system used for the first time in a production motorcycle. The latter ensures that the maximum torque is available approx. 1,000 rpm earlier despite the higher peak output.

The chassis was treated with a titanium nitride coated 50 mm Marzocchi - upside-down fork with milled fork feet, an ultralight SACHS -Racing- spring leg with adjustment in the high and low Tour area of a CNC-machined 6-piston mono-block brake system of NISSIN forged MARCHESINI -Magnesiumrädern and only a slight 4,100 g Einarmschwinge of a magnesium-aluminum alloy upgraded.

There is also an 18-carat gold badge with the model name and serial number as well as an exclusive paintwork in red / black with gold-colored rims and red Alcantara bench. Various plastic parts of the fairing have been replaced by CFRP (carbon) counterparts to further reduce weight .

A titanium exhaust system with a titanium intermediate pipe called RG3 including a suitably programmed EPROM is included in the scope of delivery for use on the racetrack .

Only a 1-seater (monoposto) version is available.
