Mac Faulkner

Mac Faulkner (born May 20, 1983 in King City , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Cardiff Devils in the British Elite Ice Hockey League since May 2012 .

Career

Mac Faulkner began his career as a hockey player with the Wexford Raiders, for which he was active in the 2000/01 season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League . He then attended Clarkson University for four years , for whose team he played in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . He then received a professional contract with the Long Beach Ice Dogs from the ECHL , for which he scored 34 scorer points in 66 games in the 2005/06 season. In the following three years the center was mostly on the ice for the Columbia Inferno and Reading Royals in the ECHL. He also ran in some games for the ECHL team of the Cincinnati Cyclones , as well as the Binghamton Senators , Toronto Marlies and Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League .

From the 2009/10 season the Canadian played in the Italian Serie A1 for HC Alleghe . In June 2011 he was signed by Ritten Sport . After three years in Italy, the Canadian signed with the Cardiff Devils from the British Elite Ice Hockey League in May 2012 .
