Made in Cologne , artist from Cologne in the DuMont Kunsthalle was the title of an art exhibition launched by Neven DuMont from September 10, 1988 to November 16, 1988 . The exhibition was designed and implemented by Klaus Honnef in collaboration with Gabriele Honnef-Harling .

A catalog was published for the exhibition with four pages per artist, each with two to three image pages for works of art, a self-selected portrait photograph and a page for the answers to a questionnaire. The template for the questionnaire originally came from Marcel Proust . It has since become popular again through the weekly publication in the magazine of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung .
