Madeleine Vester

Madeleine Vester (* 1954 in Heidelberg ) is a German theater, film and television actress .

biography

Madeleine Vester is the daughter of the biochemist Frederic Vester . Her sister Saskia Vester is also an actress. Vester attended the Krauss Drama School in Vienna from 1975 to 1976 and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in New York from 1978 to 1981 and at the Actors Studio in Los Angeles from 1981 to 1982. From 1976 theater engagements followed such as at the Theater am Kärntnertor Vienna , Schauspielhaus Zurich , Marstalltheater Munich , Freie Volksbühne Berlin , Thalia Theater Hamburg , Goethetheater Frankfurt, Altes Schauspielhaus Stuttgart and Theater 44 Munich. Vester made her television debut in 1983 in the movie The Wild Fifties . Since then she has appeared in various film and television roles. She played u. a. continuous roles in the television series Wildbach and in the crime series Mit Herz und Handschellen and was often represented in crime series. Madeleine Vester has been running an acting school for young people in Munich since 2011.
