Madetta (also: Madata , Madéta , Modetta and Roumji ) is a village in the municipality of Bouza in Niger .

The settlement is located around 16 kilometers south of the city center of Bouza, which belongs to the Bouza department of the same name in the Tahoua region. The village consists of two parts, each with its own traditional district heads ( chefs traditionnels ). Madetta I and II Madetta In Madetta runs as in about 3.6 kilometers to the southeast village Aouloumatt a large arroyo ( kori ) that the Tarka Valley opens .

At the 2012 census, Madetta had 6253 inhabitants who lived in 922 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 4,523 in 719 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 3,060 in 478 households.

There is a weekly market in Madetta. The market day is Sunday.
