Madison Wilson (born May 31, 1994 in Roma , Queensland , Australia ) is an Australian swimmer .

In 2013 she won the gold medal at the Universiade 2013 in the 200 m backseat and came third in the 50 and 100 m backseat.

Wilson won two medals in the relay competitions with the Australian swim team at the 2014 Short Course World Championships in Doha , Qatar : a silver medal in 4 × 100 m medley and a bronze medal in 4 × 200 m freestyle .

At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan , Russia , Wilson won three medals: a gold medal as a member of the victorious Australian swimming relay in 4 × 100 freestyle, a silver medal in 100 m backstroke and a bronze medal in the relay competition in 4 × 100 m medley.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics , Wilson started in the run-up to the Australian swimming team in the relay competition in the 4 × 100 m freestyle, which won the gold medal in the final with an Olympic record , and in the individual competition in the 100 m back, the final of which she finished eighth.
