Mads Døhr Thychosen (born June 27, 1997 in Vejle ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with FC Midtjylland and is part of the Danish junior national team.

Career

Mads Thychosen joined the youth teams of Vejle BK as a child and made his debut in the men's field on October 6, 2013 as a youth in the 2-0 win on the eleventh match day of the 1st division (second Danish division) against Hvidovre IF . He made two league appearances for the first team this season and moved to the FC Midtjylland youth academy in August 2014 . On October 25, 2015 Thychosen made his debut for the first team of FC Midtjylland in the 1: 2 away defeat on matchday 13 of the Superliga 2015/16 season against Brøndby IF . It was his only outing that season in which the team from Herning finished third in the table. One season later , FC Midtjylland qualified for the championship round and finished fourth there. In the summer of 2017, Thychosen switched to AC Horsens on loan for six months , but was never used. After returning to FC Midtjylland, the club extended his contract until 2021.

National team

Thychosen played eight games for the Danish U-16 national team , ten for the U-17 , five for the Danish U-18 , 13 for the U-19 national team and four for the U-20 team. On March 22, 2018, he played for the first time for the Danish U-21 national team in the 5-0 test match win in Wiener Neustadt against Austria .
