Maggie Siff (born June 21, 1974 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress . She has appeared in a number of television productions, including the Mad Men , Sons of Anarchy and Billions series, and the film Push .

Life

Maggie Siff's father is of Jewish descent. She discovered her passion for the art of acting at an early age and already entertained the whole group in kindergarten with captivating puppet pieces. During her school days she was involved in school theater, where she preferred to play fairy tales with modern interpretations. While starring in a commercial for a restaurant chain, she was noticed by a television producer who offered her supporting roles in two television series. Soon afterwards the first leading role and roles in movies followed. She studied at New York University and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts .

In 1998 she received Ghosts for her performance in Henrik Ibsen's play . A family drama in three acts won the Barrymore Award for best supporting role.
