Maggie Voisin (born December 14, 1998 in Whitefish ) is an American freestyle skier . She starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Voisin has been taking part in FIS and AFP World Tour competitions since 2012 . She achieved her first podium finish in the 2011/12 season with third place at the Canada Post Freestyle Frenzy Open Tour in Calgary . After two third places at the beginning of the 2012/13 season in slopestyle on the USSA Revolution Tour, she won the Pipe Open Series in Truckee , the AFP World Tour Final in Whistler and the national championships in Copper Mountain . She came second in the USSA Revolution Tour Final in Sun Valley . At the beginning of the following season she completed her first Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Cardrona and finished fourth in Slopestyle. At the Winter X Games 2014 in Aspen , she won the silver medal in slopestyle. In the 2015/16 season she achieved her first podium positions in the World Cup with second place in Bokwang and third place in Silvaplana and at the end of the season she achieved 26th place in the overall World Cup and sixth place in the Slopestyle World Cup. She also came fourth in the slopestyle season at the Winter X Games 2016 in Aspen and fifth at the X Games Oslo 2016 . After finishing second in slopestyle at the beginning of the 2016/17 season on the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge , she finished seventh in big air and fifth in slopestyle at the 2017 Winter X-Games . In February 2017, she won her first World Cup victory in slopestyle in Mammoth . At the X-Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell , she won the bronze medal in Big Air. The following year she won the gold medal in slopestyle at the Winter X-Games and came fourth in slopestyle at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . In January 2018 she came second in the Slopestyle World Cup in Snowmass . The following year she won bronze in the Slopestyle at the Winter X Games and finished eighth in Big Air there and at the World Championships in Park City . In the 2019/20 season, she took silver in Big Air at the X-Games Norway 2020 Air and gold in slopestyle and bronze in slopestyle at the Winter X Games 2020 .
