Mahendragarh (or Mohindergarh ; Hindi : महेन्द्रगढ) is a small town in the northern Indian state of Haryana .
The city is located in the north Indian plain 110 km west-southwest of the federal capital New Delhi . It is the seat of the eponymous Tehsils in the Mahendragarh district . The district capital Narnaul is 25 km south of Mahendragarh. The Loharu - Rewari railway runs through Mahendragarh.
Mahendragarh is a municipal committee with 15 wards . The city had 29,138 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The gender ratio was 891 women for 1,000 men. Almost the entire population was made up of Hindus .
