Maierfeld is a wasteland near Altdorf in the Titting market in the Eichstätt district . It lies on the Franconian Alb. The city of Greding and the Markt Kinding border Maierfeld . In 1865 Maierfeld belonged to the Altdorf community at the Greding district court, Beilngries district office. Until June 30, 1972 Maierfeld belonged to the Hilpoltstein district .

Wind turbine

In 2011, Beermann Windkraft GmbH & Co. Maierfeld KG, based in Munich, built four wind turbines with a height of 180 m. Two of them are on the parish of Titting. The other two plants are near Erlingshofen , Markt Kinding. The power connection is made via the Gredinger district Grafenberg .
