The Einöde Aichmühle is a district of the Titting market in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt .

location

The Aichmühle is located at a bend in the upper Anlautertal about 700 m northwest of Bürg at about 465 m above sea level . The mill is around three kilometers away from Titting.

history

In the Salbuch of the Eichstättisch-Fürstbischöfliches Nursing Office Titting- Bechthal from 1548 the Aichmühle is mentioned as belonging to the hamlet of Unterkesselberg; the three hamlets of Ober-, Mittel- and Unterkesselberg then formed a "community". The landlord was the cathedral chapter of Eichstätt . In the 17th century, the mill had the family Bayr and in the 18th century Eberhardt to fief . With the secularization in 1802 Anton Schielein took over the mill estate "Eichmühle".

On July 1, 1971, the municipality of Kesselberg and thus Aichmühle joined the Titting market during the regional reform .

Others

A sundial is attached to the mill's house, which was built in 1848 and is divided by plaster strips ; the home (basket) from the 18th century has a limestone roof . A court chapel was added in the 19th century.
