The Malagne is a small stream at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland .
geography
The Malagne rises from several karst springs at the foot of the Mont-Tendre chain south of Montricher VD . The Sources de la Malagne ( Eng . "Sources of Malagne") form a natural overflow of the nearby Source du Toleure . Spring of Toleurequelle more than 4865 liters of water per second pour the sources of Malagne. If, on the other hand, the source of the Toleure falls, the Malagne springs dry up and the stream is completely dry.
The Malagne flows in an easterly direction and joins the Veyron near the route of the Chemin de fer Bière – Apples – Morges east of Montricher .
