Malte Thomsen

Malte Thomsen (* 1993 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Malte Thomsen grew up in his native Hamburg. He started writing screenplays at the age of 19 . From 2013 to 2018 he completed his studies in film and television directing at the "DMA - the media academy" in Hamburg.

During his studies in directing, he played in the youth club of the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater from 2015-2016 . Since 2018 he has focused on acting and attended workshops at the Susan Batson Studio in New York and at the Theater Haus Berlin .

In the hospital series In all Friendship - The Nurses (broadcast: from November 2018), an offshoot of the series In All Friendship and In All Friendship - The Young Doctors , Thomsen played his first TV episode leading role as best, alongside Karl Schaper Buddy of Johannes Teuber, the friend of the student nurse Louisa Neukamm ( Llewellyn Reichman ). In March 2019 Thomsen was seen in the TV series Großstadtrevier in an episode role as ice hockey goalkeeper Clemens Frey.

He has had continuous supporting roles in the Netflix series Dogs of Berlin (2018) and in the ZDFneo web series Druck (2019).

In the 2nd season of the ZDF series SOKO Hamburg (2019), Thomsen took on one of the leading roles in the episode as Tom Ritter, a suspect, previously convicted, temporary waiter in the Hamburg yacht club.

Malte Thomsen lives in Hamburg.
