Mandeni (formerly eNdondakusuka ; English Mandeni Local Municipality ) is a municipality in the iLembe district , KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa . The seat of the municipal administration is Mandeni . SB Zulu is the mayor. The ANC has the majority in the local council.

In 2011 the population was 138,078 in a total area of ​​545 square kilometers. The original name of the community refers to Komfiya Sidleni kaNogandaya Ncwana , one of King Shaka's most successful generals.
