Manfred H. Joy (2011)

Manfred Hubert Freude (born April 2, 1948 in Aachen ) is a German poet and writer .

Life

Manfred H. Freude grew up in Aachen, where he still lives today. Among other things, he worked as a businessman, craftsman, management consultant and broker. As a guest auditor , he attended lectures on art history , philosophy, and linguistics and literature at RWTH Aachen University .

Joy wrote his first poems as early as 1968. He has written short stories, dramatic poetry , philosophical essays , literary theories and interpretations and published them in numerous self-publications from 2005 , including several volumes of poetry. He is represented in several poetry anthologies. In 2007 his short drama with the title Spiegel der Ideale was performed at the Konradhaus Theater on the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress , and the following year the prelude to Faust Work Worlds at the same location.

Joy is a member of the Euregio Maas-Rhein e. V., project manager of the authors' reading Silbenschmiede in Aachen as well as regional curator for readings and art exhibitions.
